The Giant dropper post, in 100mm version needs a minimum 160mm from bottom edge of the seat rail to the top of your seatpost tube, because the maximum insertion point on the dropper is actually 15mm below the collar of the dropper post.
The seat post is also sensitive to the clamping pressure, too much and it won't drop or rise properly, and you may damage the internals.
Accordingly, minimum heights for the other length droppers in the range is:
125mm dropper post, minimum seat height to the bottom of the rail must be 185mm.
150mm dropper post, minimum seat height to the bottom of the rail must be 210mm.
